These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, or “Customer”) and EdgeCraft (“EdgeCraft”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of our Site, services, tools, quotations, and online ordering features. By accessing or using the Site, submitting an enquiry, using the Cutting Plan tool, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to all enquiries, quotations, service requests, online tool usage, and orders placed through the Site or EdgeCraft’s online channels in Pakistan. Additional policies, including our Privacy Policy and any project-specific or service-specific terms, form part of these Terms by reference. Where there is a conflict, the more specific service or project terms will prevail.

2. Definitions

“Services” means the cutting, edge banding, CNC machining, designing, sheet optimization, and related production support services offered by EdgeCraft.

“Cutting Plan Tool” means the online sheet cutting optimizer available through the Site that helps users optimize sheet usage, reduce waste, and submit orders digitally.

“Order” means your request for services, quotation, or production work submitted through the Site and accepted by EdgeCraft.

“Customer Materials” means any drawings, dimensions, cutting lists, designs, files, specifications, instructions, or other content submitted by you for quotation, optimization, or production.

3. Eligibility and Use of the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to form a binding contract in Pakistan. By using the Site, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for the accuracy of all measurements, specifications, uploaded files, and order instructions submitted through the Site.

4. Nature of EdgeCraft Services

EdgeCraft is a service-based woodworking and production support business offering professional cutting, edge banding, CNC machining, designing, and digital sheet optimization solutions. Our services are intended for workshops, furniture makers, fabricators, interior professionals, contractors, and individual customers seeking production-ready support.

Use of the Cutting Plan Tool or submission of a request through the Site does not by itself guarantee acceptance of any order. All service requests remain subject to review, feasibility, availability, and formal acceptance by EdgeCraft.

5. Quotations, Orders, and Acceptance

All quotations, estimates, and lead times provided by EdgeCraft are subject to review and confirmation. A quotation or automated calculation shown through the Site or Cutting Plan Tool does not by itself constitute final acceptance of an order.

An order is considered accepted only when EdgeCraft confirms it through written communication, invoice issuance, order confirmation, production approval, or commencement of work. We reserve the right to refuse, revise, pause, or cancel any order for reasons including:

incomplete or inaccurate specifications
technical or production infeasibility
pricing or calculation errors
suspected misuse or fraud
material unavailability
inability to verify order details
customer non-response during confirmation

6. Customer Files, Measurements, and Specifications

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all dimensions, quantities, grain directions, edging instructions, design details, and uploaded files are correct before production begins.

EdgeCraft is not responsible for errors in the final output resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information submitted by the customer. Where we identify a possible inconsistency, we may contact you for clarification, but we are not obligated to detect all errors in customer-provided data.

If production proceeds based on approved files or confirmed specifications, any rework, correction, or replacement required due to customer error may be charged separately.

7. Cutting Plan Tool and Optimization Results

EdgeCraft provides the Cutting Plan Tool as a practical digital aid to help optimize sheet cutting layouts and reduce waste. Optimization results generated by the tool are estimates based on the dimensions, material settings, cutting assumptions, and constraints selected by the user.

While we aim to provide accurate and useful optimization outputs, EdgeCraft does not guarantee that every result generated by the tool will represent the absolute minimum possible waste, the best possible nesting result, or suitability for every workshop, machine, blade, or production method.

Tool outputs should be reviewed before production, especially where factors such as blade thickness, grain direction, edging, machine settings, sheet availability, and workshop practices may affect actual results.

8. Pricing, Rates, and Payment

Prices shown on the Site, in quotations, or in order summaries are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless otherwise stated. Rates for cutting, edge banding, CNC, designing, and other services may vary based on material type, thickness, quantity, complexity, machine time, edging requirements, customization, and project scope.

Unless clearly stated otherwise:

quotations are subject to confirmation
prices may exclude delivery, installation, taxes, or special handling charges
custom or project-based work may require advance payment, partial payment, or deposit before work begins

EdgeCraft reserves the right to revise prices where there has been a clear pricing error, specification change, or scope revision before final acceptance of the order.

9. Production Timelines and Delivery

Any delivery dates, completion estimates, production schedules, or lead times shown on the Site or shared in quotations are estimates only unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Production and delivery may be affected by factors including material availability, machine scheduling, technical complexity, order volume, clarification delays, public holidays, transport issues, and events beyond our control.

Where applicable, customers must inspect delivered or collected work promptly and notify EdgeCraft of any visible damage, shortage, or discrepancy within a reasonable time.

10. Changes, Cancellations, and Order Revisions

Because many EdgeCraft services involve custom production, order changes or cancellations may not always be possible once work has started, materials have been allocated, files have been approved, or machine preparation has begun.

If you request a revision after confirmation, EdgeCraft may:

accept the revision and issue updated pricing or timelines
place the order on hold pending re-approval
reject the revision where production has already progressed too far

Deposits or advance payments for custom, design, CNC, or processed work may be non-refundable once work has commenced.

11. Quality, Tolerance, and Service Limitations

EdgeCraft aims to deliver work to the agreed specifications using commercially reasonable production standards. However, minor tolerances, machine variations, edge finishing differences, and material-related characteristics may occur as part of normal manufacturing practice.

Natural variations in sheet materials, laminates, finishes, grain, color tone, and texture may occur and do not automatically constitute defects.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, EdgeCraft’s responsibility is limited to the agreed service scope and does not include installation, site fitting, structural suitability, or downstream assembly outcomes performed by third parties.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, branding, logos, graphics, designs, layouts, renders, tool interfaces, code, and digital assets, is the intellectual property of EdgeCraft or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of customer-submitted files and designs that you lawfully own, but by submitting them to us you grant EdgeCraft a non-exclusive right to use them for quotation, optimization, production, support, and order fulfillment purposes.

13. User Conduct and Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

use the Site or Cutting Plan Tool for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
submit malicious code, harmful files, or unauthorized content
attempt to interfere with the Site, server, tool logic, or administrative functions
impersonate any person or business
misuse quotation systems, upload tools, or automated ordering features
copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Cutting Plan Tool or related systems without authorization

EdgeCraft may suspend or block access where misuse or abuse is suspected.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services such as hosting tools, analytics tools, communication platforms, payment providers, maps, or social media channels. EdgeCraft is not responsible for the availability, content, privacy practices, or performance of third-party services, which remain subject to their own terms.

15. Privacy and Data Use

Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your information, including project details, contact information, uploaded files, and order data, as necessary to provide our services and operate the Site.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeCraft and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, delay loss, production loss, or business interruption, arising from the use of the Site, the Cutting Plan Tool, or any services provided by EdgeCraft.

Our total liability for any direct claim arising from a specific order or service will not exceed the amount paid by you for the particular order or service giving rise to the claim.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold EdgeCraft, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

your breach of these Terms
your misuse of the Site or Cutting Plan Tool
your submission of inaccurate, infringing, or unlawful files or content
any third-party claim relating to customer-provided designs, measurements, or specifications

18. Force Majeure

EdgeCraft will not be liable for any delay, suspension, or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, supply shortages, transport disruption, strikes, pandemics, equipment breakdown, governmental action, power interruption, internet outages, or material unavailability.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Site, the Cutting Plan Tool, or any account or order process if we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site, suspected fraud, security risk, or legal requirement to do so.

Termination does not affect accrued rights, pending payment obligations, or any clauses intended to survive termination.

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms, the Site, or services provided by EdgeCraft should first be raised with us so that we may attempt an amicable resolution.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update or revise these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written quotation, invoice, order confirmation, or service-specific terms issued by EdgeCraft, constitute the entire agreement between you and EdgeCraft regarding the Site and our services, and supersede prior discussions or understandings relating to the same subject matter.
